I want my SR! But you know what I am glad we have this place to come to also. I need share.

Here goes,

I am a 44 year old mother,pill head of a soon to be 24 year old son. Who I am very sad to say is a alcoholic. My son is a very smart kid. He graduated in the top 10 of his class in high school. He makes the deans list in college every semester.

My boy just got his 1st DUI at least 1st on paper. Before he left to go to Iraq he was stopped & jailed for DUI, but they let it go because he was leaving for Iraq.

Me & my husband had to bring him back to his apt. about 2 hours away. We talked to him on the way over there, he was not listening to a word we said. I see my son falling into the traps of addiction and there is nothing I can do about it. This breaks my heart he has such a great future ahead of himself.

Instead of seeing him as a wild life biologist, I see him in jail.

Just want my kid to get it.
